The NEPAD/APRM Kenya Secretariat has today kicked off Focus Group Discussions and Key Informant Interviews on County Peer Review Mechanism in Nandi County.

County Peer Review Mechanism is a voluntary self-Assessment governance tool, designed to promote transparency, accountability, and the sharing of best practices among the devolved units, in order to improve collaboration and enhance service delivery to its citizens.

 

Ongoing Focus Group Discussions

Staff from the Secretariat conducted Focus Group Discussions and Key Informant Interviews on each of the 14 devolved functions of the county government. This was undertaken in all the wards in Aldai, Tinderet, Musop, Emgwen, Nandi Hills and Chesumei sub counties in Nandi County. During these visits the participants were provided with an opportunity to express their opinions regarding the ongoing delivery of government services in Nandi County.

By joining County Peer Review Mechanism, Nandi County Government is demonstrating its commitment to transparency and continuous improvement.
